This is the plot that will be used in the few months after the opening of the site. Reading over it is a good thing, as there will be tryouts for parts in the plot later on, when I have discussed things with my leaders and staff.
Ten moons ago StarClan sent a prophecy to the Clans, telling of the destruction of the old forest. Several cats went on a journey to find a new place for the Clans to live and, along their perilous trek, they completed their mission. Along the way some died, but those who remained brought word of a new home, perfect for all of the Clans to live in.
Now the Clans have been settled in their new territories for the last two moons, trying to get a grasp on their new life. Things are different now. Sometimes it seems as if the warrior code is falling apart. Members from one Clan cross the boundaries of another and out-of-Clan friendships aren’t uncommon. The journey saved the lives of all the Clans, but at the same time it created new difficulties and challenges. The journey created bonds between cats that can never be broken, even by Clan boundaries. Each cat has their own opinion on these new ideas and values, but only the leaders can make the decision on what to do about all of this.
In the midst of the changes a new danger has appeared, though most seem completely oblivious to it. As the Clans decided on a Gathering place and discovered the Moonpool, a small group of cats watched, angered by the sudden takeover of what had once been their home. The Clans hadn’t realized it, but this group of strangers had once roamed the territory around the entire lake. Several of these cats had already been chased off of Clan territory, though the Clancats assumed that they were nothing more than local loners and kittypets. Being more than that, however, they would soon pose a bigger threat to the Clan than simply trespassing.
With the Clans unaware of this danger the future cannot be foretold. Whatever happens, we can only hope that the Clans prevail against this new threat in the midst of all of their other problems.
